Obama Lipstick
Obama Attacks Palin

Wednesday, September 09, 2008

Oink Oink

I can't believe the Obama camp would even begin to say that the Lipstick comment wasn't a direct attack on Palin.   A candidate can't even fart without it being calculated and scripted..  A staff of people get paid to talk about, plan,  predict fallout,  implement damage control and choreograph the fart.  So you better believe Obama and his team of experts knew what they were doing when the lipstick pig comment came out of Obama's mouth...and if he is that naive and reckless...Do we want him leading our country?

Peace...

Go Palin!!

Babies on Dashboard

Yesterday……..

I thought with the new millennium we had put this all behind.  A 1993 mini-van, the paint heaving from heavy oxidation, the driver enjoying the fresh air due to the lack of a climate controlled environment, and on proud display, her collection of plush collectibles by TY.

Green, purple, blue, a never ending compilation of sun-faded children's toys mounded on her dash.   The pelts of these synthetic beanie toys were covered in ash and dust, with obvious singe marks visible to the curious observer.

I am not an advocate for Beanie Baby rights, but I am a proponent for the humane treatment of forgotten and neglected plush toys everywhere.

Once proud collectibles, these bean filled misfits are now relegated to garage attics, Goodwill shelves, landfills, and yes, dashboards.

Once loved, now neglected, isn't there a better way…A more dignified ending, for a once loved and frenzied over collectible?

Smoke’em if you got’em
Category: Art and Photography

O.K. - Today I am at a stoplight...I look over and there is this person lighting up a cancer stick, old school, with the push in - pop out lighter.  It takes a couple of attempts before ignition.  The cab fills with smoke as the 3 to 4 mini-drags prime the ciggy to full blown  cherry status.  Then the obligatory crack of the window.  I am not a smoker, but it would seem that to maximize the smoking experience, one would leave the windows up, so the lungs could filter out every last whiff of lung corroding delight.  Surely smokers don't think this window cracking ritual somehow spares them the delightful post smoke aroma.  Do you have to special order the push in - pop out lighter?  Or is it bundled from the dealer in a special "Smoker's Package", complete with a pine tree deodorizer and a GPS programmed with local Oncologists?

Dancing Machine
Category: Art and Photography

If I had half the moves of my washing machine, I could give Michael Jackson a run for his money.  When the spin cycle initiates, the machine takes on a life of its own and gyrates all across the laundry room.   I spend more time under the machine leveling the legs than I do washing clothes.  One day the machine moved so far it slid in front of the door, denying access to the laundry room.  When we finally upgrade machines to a front loader, I think I will plug this machine into a 100 ft extension cord, place it in the middle of an empty room, letting it dance for hours on end.....Modern Art, it will make millions.

Blog?
Current mood: artistic

Cool!  My first Blog.  I am not sure what a blog is....Althought they say it will help my page ranking in GOOGLE.  Went to a Superbowl / Art party Saturday night.  Woohooo!  The party was fun although a bit tame.  Usually the modern art, contemporary art and pop art parties are a bit more raucous.  We cut out early and headed out for some late night sushi...Scrumptious!!!  Rainy here today...going to start work on "Return to Sender"...This new original piece of Palin pop art should be very appealing to the "Green" crowd.  So all you Gore lovers stay tuned and get the recycled check books ready, "Return to Sender" will debut in the next 30 days!!
